Snow and cookies.

Last night was the most clear beautiful cold night I have had in a while. There are zillions of stars here... all new to me. I am finding it quite fun to find my own constallations without knowledge of other's ideas. Last night I very clearly identified a a child fishing on a long arcing line. There is one extremly bright light right near Mitre Peak... it must be a planet. Venus perhaps?

The night also brought snow... not sticking, but definitely flaking. By 6 it was sunny again. The weather here is crazy.

I've discovered packaged cookies called Cookie Time. Yum. I baked oatmeal-choco-raisin cookies tonight for fellow staffmates. (trying to earn their friendship through food goodness, of course.)

Nighty night!

Hey you,
I like your updates!

I had the chance to rummage through the items you left behind, and came away with one of your how-to-travel-New Zealand books.

I'm just saying.

I'll think of you this weekend from under the stars of the northern hemisphere... We're going wild out in the Pemigewasset, same trip you accompanied us on last year. Which reminds me, I also came away from my rummage with your old backpack.

Laura,I heard aboutt he camping trip from mom! Should be a fun one as I hear the weather is fantastic. Have I mentioned that you need to come out here?
Wish Andy a very happy birthday... i think it is coming up tomorow or so. I willbe thinking of him and suggest you bake him a proper cake rather than brown bread from a can.

Chris!
I like fiction! I can't believe anyone is actually taking me up on my offer to send my books! Hurrah! The main reason I am desperate to have my credit cards back is to order some myself.
